Church of the Holy Trinity in Molvino

Фото 1
The classic Middle Russian brick church is built in the "Russian-Byzantine" style, but its main feature is the complete absence of a dome. The central two-light square is adorned on each side with seven small kokoshniks, from which five small domes rise in a line. It is likely that a traditional tent or dome once stood here, which collapsed during the Soviet years and was not restored in anticipation of better times.

Previously, there was a wooden church in the village, built by landowner Krotkov in 1774. This church had two altars: the main cold one in honor of the Life-Giving Trinity and a warm chapel in honor of Saint Mitrophan of Voronezh the Miracle Worker.
