Maslyanskoe village, located in the Shadrinsk district, is 230 versts from the diocesan city and in the 18th century was situated to the northeast of the district center, along the Yalutorovsky tract, on the left bank of the Iset River. The climate here is favorable for health. The soil around the village is diverse: there are saline and clay areas, but mostly black soil predominates, which contributes to the development of agriculture. The village was founded in 1669. Its founder is considered to be Fedka Kachesov, who received permission to build a sloboda. Maslyanskaya sloboda, also known as "Ostrog Maslyansky," was surrounded by a wall of wooden logs, a trench, and a moat. The sloboda managed three villages and 22 hamlets. The exact date of the establishment of an independent parish in Maslyanskaya sloboda is unknown. Church documents from 1772 show that the parish included the villages of Iltjakova, Kalganova, Kokorina, and others. In 1857, the village of "Kresty" was added to them. In 1863, independent parishes were formed in "Kresty" and Kokorina.

The first church in Maslyanskoe was wooden and had two altars, dedicated to the Holy Trinity and the Sign of the Most Holy Theotokos. It was built in 1700 and consecrated in 1702, but burned down in 1772. In the same year, a new wooden church was laid in honor of the Sign of the Most Holy Theotokos. In 1784, another wooden church was built in honor of the Holy Trinity. In 1862, the Trinity Church was transferred to the residents of the village of Kokorina and consecrated in honor of Saint Nicholas the Wonderworker. The Znamenskaya church was dismantled due to dilapidation, and part of it was used to build a chapel in the village of Kvashnina.

In 1821, a new stone church was laid, two-story, with the upper floor in honor of the Holy Trinity and the lower in honor of the Meeting of the Lord, which in 1844 was renamed in honor of the Beheading of the Head of Saint John the Baptist. The church was built with the funds of the parishioners and existed until 1873, when the upper floor and bell tower were dismantled due to cracks. In 1887, a new stone church was laid, which was completed in 1892 and consecrated in honor of the Holy Trinity.

The modern history of the Maslyanskoe Holy Trinity parish began in 1996 with the arrival of settlers from the Far North. In 2000, a parish consisting of 30 people was registered. In 2001, the construction of a chapel in honor of the Sign of the Most Holy Theotokos began. In 2003, a Divine Liturgy was held in the village for the first time in a century. In 2005, a dome and cross were installed on the church walls. In 2006, the first liturgy was held in the new church, and in 2007, the altar of the church in the name of the Holy Trinity was consecrated. The church became the center of the parish's revival, and ancient icons began to return to it. The Holy Trinity parish has been revived and continues its activities for the glory of God.
