The village has two churches: a stone one built in 1784 and a wooden one constructed in 1797, both funded by parishioners. The bell tower was erected in 1822 also thanks to donations from local residents. The church housed relics of the martyrs Euplus and Aemilian, as well as an ancient icon of these martyrs. Among the locals, the icon was considered miraculous, attracting many pilgrims. Thanks to the icon known as "the heads of the saints," Malgino earned the name "Trinity at the heads."
