On September 14, 2007, a site was consecrated for the construction of a monastery. In 2008, next to a temporary chapel set up in a trailer, the Holy Trinity Church was built. That same year, the monastery was registered with the Justice Department, and its construction was managed by the Volgograd City Charitable Foundation, created to support the construction and maintenance of the Mikhailo-Arkhangelsky Monastery. However, currently, by the decision of the Holy Synod, the monastery is closed due to the lack of monastic life.

In 2014, five years had passed since the consecration of the monastery church. An Archierial Courtyard was established on the basis of the monastery complex, and the church gained its parishioners.

On November 6 of this year, Bishop Ioann of Kalachyov and Pallasov served in the church. He was assisted by Protopriest Pyotr Simora, the Dean of the Volga District, Igumen Lazar Kulikov, the rector of the Archierial Courtyard, Priest Alexey Golik, a cleric of the Archierial Courtyard, Deacon Dmitry Novikov, and Deacon Alexey Gaidashov. For the first time in the church, a priestly ordination was performed, during which Deacon Alexey Gaidashov was ordained as a priest.
