Trinity Church in Kovezino

The stone Trinity Church is a parish church that operates both in winter and summer. It is distinguished by its durability and has three altars: the Holy Trinity, the Protection of the Holy Virgin, and Saint Alexander Nevsky.

The church was built in 1864 with funds from the parishioners. It particularly honors the icon of the Resurrection of Christ, known as the revealed and miraculous one.

The parish has two chapels: one stone, built at the church in 1864, and another wooden, erected in 1892 in the village of Muranovo.

The number of parishioners is 1480 men and 693 women.

The parish operates two schools: one is located in the village of Kovezino, and the other in the village of Yaksayevo; both are church-parish schools.

The staff includes a priest, a deacon, and a psalmist. The parish capital amounts to 1365 rubles.
