The church was founded in 1861 and was first consecrated in 1878.

In 1890, a fire destroyed the wooden upper part and all internal elements. In 1896, the building was restored according to a new plan. It is made of stone and has five domes, two of which are equipped with bell towers.

The church has three altars: the main altar in honor of the Life-Giving Trinity was consecrated on October 14, 1896. The northern chapel, dedicated to Saint Nicholas the Wonderworker, was consecrated on May 29, 1900, and the southern chapel, in honor of the Nativity of the Mother of God, was also consecrated on May 29, 1900.

The church has a library containing 67 volumes of anti-schism literature. The parish charitable committee has been active in the parish since 1883. The village has two schools: a male zemstvo school, opened in 1859, where Alexander Milovsky is the law teacher, and a female church-parish school, existing since 1853, with law teacher Ioann Milovsky.
