The history of this church begins in the 19th century, although the modern building was erected only in 1991. The original structure appeared in 1880 at the initiative of one of the merchants from the Baranov family. The Holy Trinity Church was widely known in the region for its unusual architecture, rich interior, and magnificent choir, which distinguished it from other county churches. The solemn consecration took place in 1860 under the guidance of Bishop Theognost. A few years later, the church underwent reconstruction, adding an altar with icons of the Mother of God and Prince Alexander Nevsky, as well as building a bell tower. However, during the Soviet era, this outstanding architectural monument was completely destroyed. The Trinity Church was only blown up on the third attempt. The stone debris remained untouched for a long time, and only in the 1950s were they used as gravel for road construction.

The decision to restore the church was made in 1991, and the relics of Saint Barbara the Great Martyr were laid in its foundation. In 2010, additional work was carried out in the church, including wall painting and gilding of the dome.
