The church was built in 1809 through the efforts of the parishioners. The building is made of stone, as is the bell tower, and is notable for its durability. The church has three altars: in the warm part on the right, in the name of Saint Basil the Great, on the left, in the name of Saint Nicholas the Wonderworker, consecrated in 1866, and in the main part, in the name of the Holy Trinity, consecrated in 1817. The inviolable church capital amounts to 1200 rubles.

The church land occupies 36 desyatinas. There are two wooden houses for the priest and the psalmist, as well as a two-story building that houses a school and a watchman's lodge. In the village of Usalovo, there is a stone chapel built in 1851. Among the parishioners, there are 6 men and 6 women of spiritual rank, 65 men and 63 women from the military, 1 man and 2 women from the merchant class, and the rest are peasants. The total number of parishioners is 716 men and 836 women. The village has a zemstvo school and a literacy school. The clergy staff includes a priest and a psalmist, with the parish capital amounting to 1550 rubles.
