According to the order of the Department for the Protection of Historical and Cultural Heritage of Nizhny Novgorod and the Nizhny Novgorod Region dated April 24, 2000, No. 5-OD, the rural Trinity Church was recognized as an object of historical and cultural heritage. The church dates back to 1854. However, according to the information from the State Heritage Protection Department of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, this order lost its validity on October 20, 2014, in accordance with order No. 159. According to Andrei and Tatiana Pavlov, the church building in Gorodishche is now used as a kindergarten "Yolochka."
