The church ensemble of the Holy Trinity is an architectural monument of the 18th century. It was built in 1785 with funds from parishioners, replacing an old wooden church, with the blessing of Archbishop Samuel of Rostov. This stone structure has five altars: the main altar is dedicated to the Holy Life-Giving Trinity, and the four chapels are dedicated to John the Baptist, St. Sergius of Radonezh, the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary, and St. Nicholas the Wonderworker. The church had a parish charity. In 1798, Emperor Paul I visited the church during an inspection tour of the Yaroslavl province.

The church houses liturgical vessels donated by the emperor during his visit. The summer part of the church is adorned with a carved iconostasis in the style of mature baroque, created by St. Petersburg craftsmen of the 18th century. In the northern fence of the church cemetery, there are church shops built in the early 19th century, completed with chapels at the ends. The eastern chapel of the early 19th century is consecrated in honor of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God, while the western chapel was built in 1917-1918. In the center of the northern fence were the Main Holy Gates.

In the 19th and 20th centuries, the church was served by the dynasties of priests from the Preobrazhensky and Kazansky families. Tombstones of clergymen have been preserved at the altar of the summer church.

In the 1930s, the church was saved from closure thanks to parishioners who did not allow commissioners to confiscate church property. Theodosiya Egorovna Volkova played an active role in the defense of the church; she was repressed in 1937 and buried in the cemetery near the church. Currently, the church is undergoing restoration.
