When you find yourself in this place, you can't help but recall the words of a classic: "In four years, there will be a garden city here." In the city park of Dubovka, work is actively underway on the construction and improvement of the territory of the new parish of the Holy Trinity of the Living Orthodox Church. Paved paths, a playground, a gazebo immersed in greenery, the fragrance of flowers, and uniquely laid stones create a cozy atmosphere, despite the fact that construction is not yet complete. The parish was established in 2006, and on its territory, a wooden church, a baptismal chapel, a chapel at the spring with consecrated water, a well, utility rooms, and an icon shop have already been built. In the future, it is planned to open a church-parish school here. Previously, in the city garden of Dubovka, on the former Bazaar Square, there stood the Resurrection Church with white walls and delicate blue domes, consecrated by the Most Reverend Bishop Tikhon of Saratov in 1876. Nearby was a church-parish school. However, in 1936-1937, the authorities destroyed the church, and to this day, only its watchman's lodge remains on the park's territory.
