Borisovo Pole is a village in the Vadsky district, known for its monument of urban planning and architecture, the Nikolskaya Church. According to the "State Register of Historical and Cultural Monuments of the Nizhny Novgorod Region," this object dates back to 1805 and is under state protection under number 471. However, the "Address Calendar of the Nizhny Novgorod Diocese" for 1904 states that the stone church in the village was built in 1823. The church has altars: the main one, dedicated to the Holy Trinity, as well as a cold chapel dedicated to Saint Nicholas the Wonderworker.
