According to information from the Kstovo Historical and Local Lore Museum, the Church of the Holy Life-Giving Trinity in the village of Bezvodnoye was built in 1897 with funds from parishioners and benefactors, and was consecrated in 1894 by Bishop Vladimir of Nizhny Novgorod and Arzamas. In 1937, the church was closed and looted, remaining empty for 52 years. In 1988, the church was returned to the believers, and a year later, services resumed. In 1993, the church was reconsecrated by Metropolitan Nikolai of Nizhny Novgorod and Arzamas, and a Sunday school was opened at the church. By 2004, the church was restored thanks to the efforts of parishioners and benefactors.
