The project for the Trinity Church in the village of Barmino was developed at the request of A.A. Ananyin. The architect was E.G. Titov, and the engineers were G.S. Shcherbakov, A.V. Kirillov, M.V. Bodrov, and S.S. Koptsov. The artistic design was carried out by Alexey Antsiferov, and the author team was led by V.V. Koval from the 'Scientific and Project Restoration Workshop of Viktor Koval.' The design work began in the fall of 2014 and was completed by the end of 2015. The church is located in the center of the village on the Volga slope, near the site where a wooden church stood until 1977, founded in 1693 and burned down in 1977.

The church is built from glued timber with a thickness of 29 cm and is set on a brick base. The facades are adorned with carved and blind carvings, and the architecture is executed in the Russian style. The volumetric-planning structure represents the type 'under the bells.' The main part of the temple is three-tiered, designed in the type 'octagon on a square' with a bell tower and a tent-like completion. Two extensions with arched passages to the prayer hall adjoin it from the north and south. The main entrance is located on the western side, while the side entrances are on the northern and southern sides.

On May 27, 2018, during the Feast of Pentecost, Bishop Siluan of Lyskov and Lukoyanov conducted the rite of great consecration of the church in honor of the Holy Trinity in the village of Barmino, Lyskovsky District. The ceremony was attended by Archpriest Andrey Samsonov, Archpriest Alexey Melnikov, the dean of the Lyskovsky district Priest Oleg Shutov, Priest Alexander Grigoryev, the rector of the church Priest Evgeny Treshnikov, and Priest Mikhail Shvetsov. The service was attended by acting Vice-Governor of Nizhny Novgorod Region Evgeny Lyulin, Deputy Head of the Lyskovsky District Administration Alexander Nagornov, the benefactor of the church Anton Ananyin, guests, and residents of the village. After the consecration, Bishop Siluan conducted the Divine Liturgy, and the sermon was delivered by Archpriest Andrey Samsonov. By the decree of Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and all Rus, Bishop Siluan presented commemorative medals for the 100th anniversary of the restoration of the patriarchate to Evgeny Lyulin and Anton Ananyin. Anton Alexandrovich, thanking for the award and assistance in the construction of the church, presented the archpastor with a panagia. The bishop also awarded archpastoral certificates to the rector of the church Priest Evgeny Treshnikov and other participants in the construction.
