The Trinity Church is located in the cemetery. In 1618, a warm wooden church of Simeon the Stylite is mentioned, which was located at the Water Gate in the old market. The cold Assumption Church, which burned down in 1610, was restored after 1618. In 1784, it was moved to the cemetery, where, thanks to the efforts of the townspeople, a stone temple of the Holy Trinity was built with altars dedicated to the Assumption and the miracle of Saint Michael the Archangel. A stone bell tower was also erected here, which housed a bell weighing 103 poods, made by merchant Pyotr Semyonovich Latukhin.

The architecture of the Trinity cemetery church, built in 1784, is not typical for that time and resembles the style of the early 18th century more. The church is designed as an octagonal tower, based on a square, divided into two equal tiers and topped with a dome with a decorative head. On the western side, a refectory adjoins the church with a simple entrance on the end. The bell tower, which has not survived, stood separately and also had the shape of an octagonal tower, similar in size and volume to the church. The church building is executed with great craftsmanship. The architectural plasticity of the walls is manifested, for example, in the fact that the window frames of the upper tier of the octagon, despite having the same design, have a lower relief than the corresponding details of the lower tier. The brick gates leading to the Trinity Church are very expressive, with their small head and tiled roof.
