The stone two-story church of the Holy Trinity was built in the village of Arkhangelsk in 1780 thanks to the funds of parishioners and the contributions of local owners, the Shchepiny-Rostovskys, replacing the previous church. On the first floor, there are two chapels: the southern one dedicated to Our Lady of Kazan and the northern one dedicated to Archangel Michael. The chapel of the Holy Trinity is located on the second floor. The church features a tall five-domed square base with a refectory and a tiered bell tower.

It was in this church that Akulina Krasavina (Myshkinskaya), the last elder of the 20th century, was baptized.

The church was last renovated before the revolution in 1855, and after 1917 it was forgotten. During the Soviet era, it was closed, desecrated, and abandoned. Despite this, some 19th-century frescoes have partially survived. In 2014, restoration work began on the church through donations.
