According to written sources, the first wooden church existed as early as 1556. Later, a stone, two-story, five-domed church was built with funds from parishioners. The lower floor, warm, with an altar in honor of Archangel Michael, was constructed in 1769, while the upper, cold floor, with an altar in honor of the Life-Giving Trinity, was built in 1817.

The parish included the village of Vesi and the village of Koshcheeva, totaling 240 households, with a population of 622 men and 768 women. Church documents have been preserved: copies of metric books from 1816 and confession lists from 1829. According to the statute, there was a priest and a psalmist, and the clergy received up to 650 rubles a year for maintenance from church services and land. The clergy had their own houses on church land, as noted in the book by V.G. Dobronravov and V.D. Berezin "Historical and Statistical Description of Churches and Parishes of the Vladimir Diocese," published in 1896.

In the 19th century, the village developed, and among the residents, professions such as stonemasons, carpenters, and weavers were common. The five-domed church was visible from neighboring villages even at a great distance. The main volume of the church was raised, and it began to resemble a tower with four tiers, reaching upwards. In the 1930s, the church in the village was closed, and it is now in a dilapidated state: the roofs and walls of the refectory have been lost, and the bell tower is destroyed.
