The parish in the village of Pazdery was founded by the decree of the Holy Synod on March 26, 1795, uniting settlements that were previously part of the parish of the village of Gol'yany. In 1896, it included the villages of Pazdery and Perevoznoe, as well as the villages of Zhuzhgi, Sidorovy Gory, Fedotovo, Povarionki, Patrakovo, Merzlyaki, Bachino, Severukhi, Ol'khovo, Ledukhi, Novye Fertiki, Fomino, Kulyushevo, and the Maksimov hamlet. The church served parishioners for fifty years but eventually fell into disrepair. By the decree of the Vyatka spiritual consistory on May 20, 1846, due to its dilapidation, services were prohibited.

That same year, the villagers built a temporary wooden church with one altar, consecrated on December 14 in honor of Saint Great Martyr Catherine. In 1855, a new wooden church was built with the funds of the parishioners, consecrated on February 6, 1861, in honor of the Tikhvin Icon of the Mother of God. It was a wooden structure on a stone foundation with one dome, a wooden cross, and a bell.

In 1888, a chapel was built near the church, closer to the river. It was wooden, painted white, without a dome, with a wooden cross on the roof. The chapel was erected at the place where the "Old Icons" arrived by the Kama River. In 1900, another chapel was built at the Pazdery cemetery. On July 14, 1913, the foundation of a stone church was laid, but construction was not completed due to the outbreak of World War I in 1914 and subsequent changes in power. Over time, the foundation sank into the ground.

In November 1923, the wooden church burned down due to a severe fire. The causes of the fire remain unclear: according to one version, it was a lightning strike, while another suggests that the caretaker closed the well-heated stove too early and went home. The church burned evenly, not affecting neighboring buildings. After the fire, only one bell weighing 13 poods survived. Services were held in the former church house with the permission of Bishop Botkinsky Ambrosius. The village council charged a monthly rent of 14 rubles and 59 kopecks for the house. Later, the services were moved to the chapel.

In 1939, the chapel was closed due to dilapidation, prohibiting services. However, parishioners continued to come to venerate the "Old Icons," bringing offerings. In 1952, all icons, including the "Old Icons," were transferred to the Ascension Church in the village of Perevoznoe. The chapel building was handed over to the village council, valued at 50 rubles, and the copper bell at 200. The chapel was closed in winter, and the villagers organized a procession with icons from Pazdery to Perevoznoe, especially carefully carrying the "Old Icons." Crosses were erected at the sites of the former chapels and church.

Six years ago, with the blessing of Metropolitan Nikolai of Izhevsk and Udmurtia, a parish was established under the guidance of Hieromonk Zosima, with the aim of building a temple complex that would later become a men's monastery. Permission for construction was obtained in August 2008. The complex, including a church, monastery, residential buildings, and a garden, will be located on 15 hectares. The design of the church used sketches by architect Ivan Charushin, the author of the Mikhailovsky Cathedral and the Ascension Church in the village of Perevoznoe.

In May 2012, the construction of the church in the now non-existent village of Pazdery was completed, and on June 10, 2012, Metropolitan Nikolai of Izhevsk and Udmurtia solemnly consecrated it.
