The ancient village on the banks of the Soti River has preserved a picturesque rural park with a pond and a remarkable example of church architecture, the Church of the Tikhvin Mother of God. The church has chapels dedicated to the three Holy Moscow Saints: Peter, Alexius, and Jonah, as well as to Saint Nicholas the Wonderworker. The temple was built in 1775 through the efforts of the parishioners. The village and the church are located on an elevation, and the church was oriented towards the temple located across the river in the Pomyasovo estate. Together they created a unified architectural ensemble. Unfortunately, the church in the Pomyasovo estate, owned by the noble Polozov family, was destroyed. A one-class church school operated at the church, along with a public free library at the school.
