The Resurrection-Tikhon Church, located at the second cemetery of Rybinsk, is a sturdy stone building that is not divided into summer and winter parts. It was built in 1882 by Rybinsk citizens Nikolai Baskakov, Gavriil Umnov, Ivan Fomich Myrkin, and Nikolai Zhivushev. In 1892, an altar was added to the church. The church has two altars: one in honor of the Renewal of the Church of the Resurrection of Christ, Saint Tikhon of Zadonsk, and Venerable Alexander of Svir, and the altar dedicated to the icon of the Mother of God "Relieve My Sorrows," Saint Great Martyr and Healer Panteleimon, and Saint Martyr Barbara.

In 1901, a church in the name of the Mother of God "Joy of All Who Sorrow" was annexed to this church, located at the city hospital. It was built that same year from wood, but a stone building with a bell tower is currently being constructed. In 1893, a wooden chapel-tomb was erected, replacing the dilapidated chapel built when the cemetery opened in 1866.

The church, cemetery, and church houses occupy 5 desyatins 500 square fathoms, of which the cemetery occupies 5 desyatins. The cemetery, opened in 1866, was originally called Pokrovsky, and since 1887, after the church was built and an independent parish was established, it has been called Tikhonovsky.

There are three church houses on the territory: one for the priest and deacon, a second wing for the psalmist, and a third for the second staff. The church capital amounts to 7612 rubles 15 kopecks, including an endowment, church economic capital, and conditional contributions. The church, located at the city cemetery, is considered non-revenue.

The church has a parish charity with a principal capital of 1000 rubles and annual expenses of up to 250 rubles. Its funds support a parish school located in its own building, valued at over 5000 rubles. The staff includes a priest and a psalmist, with the parish capital amounting to 8426 rubles 85 kopecks.
