Tatiana Church in Zaprudnoe

On October 10, 2019, the church in honor of Saint Martyr Tatiana was consecrated in the village of Zaprudnoe, Kstovo District, Nizhny Novgorod Region. The Rite of Great Consecration was conducted by Metropolitan Georgy of Nizhny Novgorod and Arzamas. He also led the Divine Liturgy in the new church. He was assisted by the dean of the Kstovo district and the rector of the church, Archpriest Alexiy Yolkin, the rector of the Nizhny Novgorod Cathedral in honor of the Holy Life-Giving Trinity, Archpriest Sergey Shalatonov, and other clergy of the diocese. After the liturgy, the dean expressed gratitude to the head of the Nizhny Novgorod Metropolis for his care for the Kstovo district and presented him with an icon of Saint Martyr Alexander Pospelov.

The Tatiana Church, designed for 200 people, was laid on August 20, 2017, on the site of a wasteland. In the same village, a chapel in honor of the Nativity of the Most Holy Theotokos has been operating since 2014.
