St. George's Church in the village of Vasilievka was built in 1873 with funds from local residents. Nearby were the graves of church ministers. During the struggle against religion, the church was closed and repurposed as a warehouse. During the occupation, services resumed, but after the war, the building was dismantled, and a village club was constructed from its stones.
