The building is located in the northern part of the city, its eastern facade facing the Volga embankment. Built of brick in 1757, it was later plastered, and in the early 19th century received new roofs. The bell tower was dismantled, and its completion was lost. This is an expressive monument of cult architecture, executed in the late forms of Naryshkin Baroque. A low apse of the same width, semicircular in the eastern part with a three-lobed outline, adjoins the square in plan two-light cube. The refectory, shifted from the longitudinal axis, is connected to the projecting southern chapel, and its northern wall coincides with the facade of the cube. The apse of the chapel, which forms a quarter circle, almost covers the southern facade of the cube up to the middle. In the western part, the refectory includes a vestibule, the entrance to which and two narrow windows on the sides are expanded. On the side facades of the cube, there are two rectangular upper light windows framed by columns and ornate Naryshkin pediments. The entrance on the northern facade is made in the form of an arch. In the center of the eastern facade above the apse is a square niche-kiot. Wide pilasters are installed at the open corners of the building, and on the facade of the refectory, one of them is half cut off. The ornate cornice of the cube is decorated with rows of cityscapes, shelves, and a cornice, while the cornices of the apse, refectory, and vestibule are decorated only with cityscapes. The vaulted ceiling of the cube is now covered with a suspended ceiling, in the apse the vault is barrel-shaped with three troughs and arches above the windows, while in the refectory there are two intersecting barrel vaults with troughs above the chapel and arches.
