The church was built in 1803 with funds from the parishioners. It is a stone building with a bell tower and a fence. Inside, there were two altars: the main, cold one, dedicated to the Meeting of the Lord, and a winter one in honor of the prophet Elijah. Based on the preserved fragments of the frescoes in the main altar, one can imagine the interior decoration of the temple. Currently, the church is abandoned and gradually deteriorating, however, the remnants of the frescoes and elements of the wooden iconostasis continue to make a strong impression on all who visit its ruins.
