The parish church dedicated to the Meeting of the Lord was built in 1705. It is a summer, single-altar church with two lights. Alongside it, a winter single-altar church was erected in honor of Saint Nicholas the Wonderworker. The stone church in the village of Kuryshino was built with the funds of parishioners, replacing a wooden church that served for about 25 years and was erected by the Lopukhins. The Lopukhins also built a wooden church in the village on the site of the abolished church of the Annunciation pogost, which was located between the villages of Tsylino and Sukhmen. The church houses a revered icon of the Mother of God "Joy of All Who Sorrow" and part of the holy relics. In the churchyard, there is a small stone chapel built in 1882.

The land holdings of the Kuryshino church comprise 37 desyatins and 2334 square fathoms, while the lands of the abolished church of the Annunciation pogost, including arable, haymaking, and forest areas, were transferred to the Ilyinsko-Porechsky parish. The houses for the priest and the psalmist are wooden and belong to the church. The church capital amounts to 850 rubles. The church and the associated peasant houses are located on a small elevation. Since 1871, a church-parish guardianship has been operating at the church, and since 1879, a zemstvo school. The clergy staff includes a priest and a psalmist, and the clergy capital in securities amounts to 7182 rubles.
