Church of the Merciful Savior in Syntul

Фото 1
In 1865, a winter church was built in the village of Syntul in honor of the Merciful Savior with a Friday chapel. It was warm and did not have a bell tower. It was consecrated on October 30, 1866. In 1958, the church was closed, and this continued until 1988. During the closure, the altar and refectory parts of the building housed a gym, and where the candle box and kanon were, woodworking machines were installed for labor lessons. In 1988, the church was consecrated again by Archbishop Simon of Ryazan and Kasimov.
