Initially, there was a wooden church in the village dedicated to Saint Blessed Grand Prince Alexander Nevsky, but it burned down in 1861. In its place, another wooden church was built in the name of the Transfiguration of the Lord, which was destroyed during the Soviet era. Only in 1999 did the construction of the stone Spaso-Transfiguration church begin, which was consecrated in 2001.
