The stone five-domed church with two floors was built in 1810 through the efforts of the parishioners. On the western side, it is adjoined by a bell tower, erected on a separate foundation and connected to the church by two walls. The bell tower has three sound windows and is adorned with pediments and columns. The church has four altars: on the upper floor, in the name of the Transfiguration of the Lord, and on the lower, warmer floor, the main altar is dedicated to the Nativity of Christ, while the side altars are dedicated to Saint Nicholas and Saint Demetrius of Rostov.

According to local legend, there used to be a wooden church on this site, but it is unknown when it was destroyed or burned down.

The current church has no miraculous icons, except for the particularly revered image of the Kazan Mother of God, adorned with a copper-silvered robe. A total of five processions are held.
