In the village, the remnants of the oldest church have been preserved, not only in the Dmitrievsky rural settlement but throughout the Danilovsky municipal district. The Church of the Transfiguration of the Lord was built in 1655, but in the 19th century, it was significantly rebuilt, and its original appearance has almost disappeared. The church had three altars: in honor of the Transfiguration of the Lord, St. Nicholas the Wonderworker, and St. Dmitry of Rostov.

A semi-ruined bell tower has survived. To this day, three walls of the square base remain, while the western wall has collapsed. Elements from the 17th century have not survived. The refectory, bell tower, part of the apse, and the western wall of the square base are in a ruined state.

A church parish school operated at the church, funded by the interest from the capital donated by Marfa Ilina.
