The Transfiguration Church is built of stone and is known for its durability. It has three altars: the main one, in the cold part, is dedicated to the Transfiguration of the Lord, while in the warm chapel, to the right is dedicated to Saint Nicholas the Wonderworker, and to the left, to the martyr Paraskeva. The church was erected in 1787 thanks to the efforts of parishioner Ivan Grigorievich Gryazev. Among the revered relics is the icon of the Tikhvin Mother of God.

The church owns 110 desyatins and 1169 square fathoms of land. There are two houses for the clergy, a watchman's lodge, and a church school for the parish. The church capital amounts to 4845 rubles in bonds. The village is located on a hill by the Uchi River. The parish has a church school, funded with 50 rubles from the rent of the water mill, as well as church patronage. The staff includes a priest and a psalmist, with the parish capital totaling 7395 rubles.
