Transfiguration Church in Putyatino

Фото 1
The church was built in 1770 with funds from the parishioners. It is made of stone and has five domes. In the early 19th century, a tiered bell tower and a fence with gates were added. The church's frescoes were completed in the 19th century, and the iconostasis consists of six tiers.

The church has three altars: in honor of the Transfiguration of the Lord, Saint Nicholas, Archbishop of Myra in Lycia, the miracle worker, and the blessed princes Theodore of Smolensk and his sons David and Constantine, the miracle workers of Yaroslavl.

The church was closed in the 1970s.
