The Church of the Transfiguration of the Lord in the village of Povodnevo is a parish church and is a solid two-story stone building. It has three altars: in the upper cold temple, the Transfiguration of the Lord, and in the lower warm one, in honor of the Vladimir Mother of God with an altar dedicated to the great martyr Paraskeva-Friday. The church was built in 1763 through the efforts of the parishioners. Among the venerated icons are the Transfiguration of the Lord, the Vladimir Mother of God, and the holy great martyr Paraskeva-Friday.
