Church of the Transfiguration in Naumovo

Фото 1
The village, once located on the banks of the Sot River, has not survived to this day. The only reminder of its existence is the stone church of the Transfiguration of the Lord. This temple, built in 1835 with the funds of parishioners, had altars in honor of Archangel Michael, the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, and Saint Nicholas the Wonderworker. The church has preserved four tiers of the bell tower, and the square base is topped with a rotunda with one dome. The western entrance to the church is adorned with columns and passes through the first tier of the bell tower.

In the parish of the church, there was a wooden chapel in the village of Dyakonovo, built around 1815 on the site of the abolished church. The village of Naumovo also had a church parish school.
