Lukyanovo, a village in the Shatkovsky district, is home to a monument of urban planning and architecture, the Savior Church. The site dates back to 1797 and is under state protection with the number 1327. The "Address Calendar of the Nizhny Novgorod Diocese" for 1904 provides slightly different information about the two-story stone church in Lukyanovo: it dates to 1798 and mentions two altars, a cold one in honor of the image of the Savior Not Made by Hands and a warm one for the Nativity of Christ.
