The stone church in the name of the Savior Not Made by Hands is notable for its durability. It has three altars: the main one in the cold part is dedicated to the Savior Not Made by Hands, while in the warm chapel there are two altars, on the northern side in honor of the Kazan Mother of God and on the southern side in honor of the Epiphany of the Lord. The church was built in 1893 with funds from a Moscow merchant, Guriy Vasilyev, originally from the village of Panyushina.

The church land includes 36 desyatinas near the village and 2 desyatinas 2360 square fathoms on the bank of the Kostroma River. The village is located in a flat area and has a church parish school. The clergy consists of a priest and a psalmist, who receive a state salary of 400 rubles, while the parish capital amounts to 7203 rubles.
