The village of Synodskoye, founded in the first half of the 18th century on the Tereshka River, was established by settlers from the village of Vyazovka, now located in the Bazarno-Karabulak district. The name of the village is connected to the fact that the settlers were synod peasants. According to the 1859 census, there were 186 households in Synodskoye, with 596 men and 680 women living there. The village had an Orthodox church, a post station, and a mill, and the postal route from Volsk to Saratov passed through it. Markets were held here on Sundays, and from the second half of the 19th century, fairs were conducted on Trinity and September 8. Synodskoye was the volost center of the Volsky district of Saratov province.

In 1909, a new stone church with a bell tower was built on the site of the old temple, dedicated to the Holy Life-Giving Trinity. Its clergy included a priest and a psalmist, for whom church houses were provided. By 1910, the population of Synodskoye reached 2,509 people. The village had two church-parish schools, a zemstvo hospital, and a veterinary point. During the Soviet era, Synodskoye became the center of the village council, and the Trinity church was closed and destroyed.

In 2015, at the request of Orthodox believers, the community was given the building of the former village office for conducting services. With the efforts of local residents, one of the rooms was repaired and adapted for these purposes.

On September 5, 2015, with the blessing of Metropolitan Longin of Saratov and Volsk, the archpriest Ilya Kuznetsov, the dean of the Resurrection district, together with the rector of the church, conducted the rite of placing the antimension and the first Divine Liturgy.
