Semenovskoye is a state village located by the Vikhorka River and wells, 30 versts from Rostov. It has 37 households and a population of 100 people, as well as 103 plots of land.

The village has two stone churches: one cold and the other warm, dedicated to the Archangel Michael. Both churches were built with the funds of the parishioners.

The village hosts processions: two in Semenovskoye, the first during the stay of the Rostov miraculous icon of the Vladimir Mother of God and the second in memory of the fire of 1866. Processions also take place in the villages of Kedsovo and Pukesovo, established after the hailstorm.

The church has 36 desyatinas of land, and the parish includes four settlements.
