In the village of Kolodino, there used to be a Uniate church, the Ascension-Kolodino Church. This wooden building on a stone foundation is covered with iron. The exterior walls are clad with planks and painted, while the interior is plastered. The church is a parish, warm and sturdy, with one altar dedicated to the Ascension of the Lord. It was built in 1867 with funds raised from voluntary donations. The church land comprises 36 desyatinas, as well as three houses: one for the priest, another for the psalmist, and a third for the church watchman. There are 342 men and 375 women living in the village and surrounding villages. The village is located on a plain near the Repa River, 142 versts from Yaroslavl. Since 1904, a charitable society has been operating, founded on a capital of 4000 rubles and property donated by the former benefactor of the church, Petersburg merchant Trofim Ivanovich Ivanov. The clergy consists of a priest and a psalmist, receiving a state salary of 392 rubles; the parish capital amounts to 5300 rubles.
