The stone church dedicated to St. Sergius of Radonezh was built in 1860 by Prince Alexander Vasilyevich Dolgorukov. It was closed in 1934. In 1996, the church was handed over to the Nizhny Novgorod Diocese, and in 1997 it was consecrated, resuming services. The church is recognized as a monument of history and cultural heritage.
