Poddubnovo, a state-owned village located by the ponds 30 versts from Rostov. The village has a single-domed stone church with a bell tower. It was founded by parishioners in 1836 and has two altars: in honor of St. Sergius of Radonezh the Miracle Worker and the Assembly of St. John the Baptist. Until 1831, the church was wooden, but that year it burned down due to a lightning strike. As a result, the local priest held services for three years in the neighboring village of Chufarovo. The parish includes the villages of Poddubnovo, the village of Nagorye, and the village of Rokho.
