In Astrakhan, in the microdistrict Southeast-3, the construction of a church dedicated to St. Sergius of Radonezh is underway. It is being built on the site where a multi-story building was previously located, which was destroyed by a gas explosion. The project was developed by architect Nikolai Igorevich Yermolin from the firm 'Grafit'. The church will be brick, two-tiered, with a total area of 200 square meters. Currently, a parish house has already been built, which houses a Sunday school, a basement floor, and a lower church dedicated to St. Seraphim of Sarov.
