The wooden church dedicated to St. Sergius of Radonezh is built in the traditions of northern architecture. Its appearance is inspired by M.V. Nesterov's painting "Vision of the Youth Bartholomew." The church stands on a hill made of natural stone, which previously served as the foundation for the ruined walls of the old monastery. The Church of Sergius of Radonezh, small and modest, symbolizes the main virtue of the saint, humility. Surrounding it are large buildings, testifying that abundant fruits arise from humility.

The church was consecrated on November 11, 2007. Beneath it lies another, unusual cave church dedicated to the holy ones Anthony and Theodosius of the Caves. This lower church became the foundation for the upper one, as these saints laid the groundwork for Russian monasticism and strengthened monastic life through their deeds. The interior of the church is adorned with mosaics made in the style of the early centuries of Christianity, conveying simplicity and at the same time monumentality, as well as an ascetic spirit and grandeur. Monastic tonsures and funerals will be held here.
