On August 13, 2016, in the village of Vladikino, located in the Bogorodsky district of the Nizhny Novgorod region, Metropolitan Georgy, representing the Nizhny Novgorod and Arzamas dioceses, conducted the ceremony of the Great Consecration of the church dedicated to St. Seraphim of Sarov. This church became the first in the region built in a cottage settlement, making it accessible to local residents.

The church is constructed from wooden beams, and its height from the ground to the cross is 26.5 meters. The building area is 168 square meters, while the footprint is 214 square meters. The forged elements were made by Arzamas craftsmen, and the bells were produced at a factory in Tutayev, Yaroslavl region.
