The parish of the Venerable Seraphim of Sarov was founded on September 17, 1993. The first rector was Hieromonk Tikhon Solovyov. Since 2001, by the decree of Metropolitan German of Volgograd and Kamyshin, the parish has been led by Archpriest Peter Simora.

Initially, services were held in a specially equipped chapel. Since 2003, they have been taking place in the church. In 2005, with the blessing of the Metropolitan of Volgograd and Kamyshin, the painting of the church walls began, which was planned to be completed by early 2013.

In 2006, a building for the baptismal church was constructed on the parish grounds, which, with the blessing of Metropolitan German, was named in honor of the Holy Blessed Paraskeva of Diveyevo.
