Construction has been ongoing since 2003 and has faced difficulties. Initially, the foundation was laid and the first crowns were installed, but then the work was halted. Later, the main part of the log structure was erected, but again there was a break. The building's shell turned gray, and it seemed that the church would not be returned to and would be dismantled for firewood. In 2006-2007, the sheathing and installation of rafters began, temporarily covered with roofing felt, while the flat areas were covered with metal slate, and foundations for the domes and crosses were prepared. However, by 2012, the wood had darkened both inside and out, and several steel sheets and roofing felt on the temporary roofs were torn off in places. The construction of the church was halted again, the building remained open and overgrown with grass. The lower crowns, installed at the beginning of construction, began to rot and require replacement.
