The construction of the church began in 2009, and the first Divine Liturgy here was conducted by Archbishop Kirill. Currently, services at the church take place on Sundays and holidays, and an akathist to St. Seraphim is also served on Sundays. A Sunday school operates at the church. After the Divine Liturgy, which took place in the consecrated church, Viktor Ivanovich Plakida, the deputy director of the Yaroslavl Refinery named after D.I. Mendeleev, gifted the church icons of St. Seraphim of Sarov and St. Nicholas. Then, the Bishop blessed the daily celebration of the Liturgy in the Seraphim Church for the following week.
