Priimkovo is a landowner village located on the Kotorosl River and surrounded by ponds, 16 versts from Rostov. The village has 33 households, with 101 souls registered and 102 allotments. It houses the volost administration and a village school, opened in 1874.

The stone church with five domes, connected to the bell tower, was built by the parishioners in 1781. It has three altars: the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Protection of the Blessed Virgin Mary, and Saint Nicholas. Prior to this, there were two wooden churches in the village, erected in different years. The first one burned down, and another was built in its place at the parish cemetery within the village. Later, the cemetery along with the church was moved outside the village, and in 1835, due to its dilapidated condition, the church was dismantled. The exact dates of the construction of these churches are unknown. The church in the village of Priimkovo does not have miraculous icons, ancient vestments, manuscripts, or old printed books. The icon of the Merciful Savior is particularly venerated, with its feast celebrated on August 16. Only a few items from ancient utensils have survived: a pewter chalice, a diskos, a star, and a tabernacle.
