The Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary is a stone parish church that operates in both summer and winter. It is distinguished by its durability and has three altars. In the cold part of the church, the altar is dedicated to the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, while in the warm part there are two chapels: on the southern side, in honor of Saint Martyr Dmitry of Thessalonica, and on the northern side, in honor of the Holy Martyrs Flora and Lavra. The church was built in 1814 with funds from the parishioners. In addition, there are three wooden chapels: one located in the village on the large Lyubimsk-Kostroma road, another in the village of Ivanovskoye, and the third, built in 1903, in the village of Lyscevo.

The church owns 69 desyatins and 21 square sazhen of land. There are three church houses on the territory: one for the priest, another for the psalmist, and a watchman's lodge. The church capital amounts to 1871 rubles and 50 kopecks. Only church servants live in the village, totaling 8 men and 13 women. In the parish villages, there are 715 men and 829 women. The village is located on flat terrain. There are two schools in the parish: in the village of Germanovskaya, a second-grade zemstvo primary school, and a literacy school in the village of Nagorskoye. The clergy staff consists of two people, and the clergy capital amounts to 2079 rubles.
