The church dedicated to the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary is a stone parish church. It has three altars: one in the summer church dedicated to the Nativity of the Virgin Mary, and two in the winter church, the northern one in honor of Saint Nicholas the Wonderworker and the southern one in honor of the Holy Trinity. The church was built in 1809 thanks to the efforts of the parishioners. Among the icons of the local church, the icons of Saint Nicholas the Wonderworker, the Tikhvin Mother of God, and Saint Panteleimon are especially venerated.
The church land covers 36 desyatinas, and houses for the local clergy were built with funds from the church parish administration. The church's endowment amounts to 552 rubles. The village of Parfenevo is located on the Peskoldysh River and has 71 men and 102 women. The village includes nine settlements: Dorskoe, Ivankovo, Mikhalevo, Neronovo, Pochatkovo, Zharkovo, Korinskoe, Osheykino, and Batolino. There is a zemstvo school in the parish. According to the staff, there should be a priest and a psalmist, and the parish capital amounts to 5533 rubles.
