The Nativity Church is a stone building with a bell tower, serving as a parish church with both cold and warm premises. The church has three altars: in the cold part, in honor of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary; in the warm part, to the right in honor of the Pechora Mother of God, and to the left, Saint Nicholas the Wonderworker. The church was built by the parishioners in 1794. The parishioners live in the village of Novoselka-Penkovo, which has 129 men and 159 women, as well as in the village of Ershniki, located 1.5 versts away, with a population of 130 men and 106 women. Since 1903, a church parish school has been operating in the village.
